Our guide, Ahmed, was a mine of info on the history of the town and showed us the main places of interest including the market, as well as many stories about Zanzibarian culture and customs, he even sang to us at one point! Ahmed’s tour was fun and gave us a perfect introduction to Stone Town and Zanzibar.

My husband and I did a morning walking tour around Stonetown with Alfa. He was absolutely terrific. Alfa spoke clearly of the town's history, he made it very interesting . He was patient and gave us time to look and ask questions. We would highly recommend Alfa for your city tour guide .

Alpa is a great tour guide, very informative about the Town and island history. He took us to some great areas in the town, lovely old back streets, beautiful arbic and Indian doors original to the Towns. To a small secret local shop selling dry mango flavoured with Hisbiscus. Great tour

Great and interesting walkingtour about the history of Zanzibar from the past till now. Alfa is a guide with a lot of (historical) knowledge and passionate about Zanzibar and Stone City. Historical buildings, markets and other interesting placed were visited, each with their own stories. I would recommend Alfa.

Alfa is such a nice guy and better guide! We did his tour because we wanted to learn more about the history of Zanzibar and he did an amazing job explaining us. In the beginning he asked us what we wanted to learn and see and he fulfilled our expectations. After the tour we asked him for recommendations of restaurants and we went there and the food was really good. I totally recommend his tour.

We walked the length and breadth of old Stonetown yesterday with our guide, ‘Alpha’. It was an amazing afternoon full of great sightseeing with lots of interesting historical information. Alpha is a great guide, a very nice man and is so well informed about the history of Stonetown. We would definitely recommend 👍
